The bus scene in the Americas covers a broad range of small and large, old and new buses with very different markets. The USA and Canada have their own makes and models. The Latin American market is now dominated by European brands with local factories, often with a bigger production than the parent company. Also, some of the worlds largest bus body builders are based on this continent and are now exporting world wide. At the same time the basic school bus is still omnipresent in many places, making this region the largest in the world for normal control buses.
