The preferred midibus in Rwanda is the Toyota Coaster and KBS has lots of them, right from the start. Initially the city buses were probably yellow, but when they were used on the regional service between Kigali and Gisenyi, in 2012/2013, they were either white or had an overall advertisement wrapping. When the new urban services started in September 2013 the company light green and white livery was applied to all of them. Also, Coasters were rented from other operators to have sufficient vehicles for the new services. All these vehicles received the KBS livery. Most Toyota Coaster actually used in 2016 are rented, KBS only has 10 in its fleet.
