ABC -Autobus Bedrijf Curaçao


ABC operates buses on the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean. Curaçao now is an independent country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Bus company ABC did recieve buses from the Netherlands, including a series of new DAF with Belgian Jonckheere bodywork in the 1970's and several series of secondhand DAF buses, both of the regional model, the standard city bus model and the newer Hainje/Berkhof ST2000-model. Newly bought buses included ENCAVA from Venezuela and Marcopolo, Busscar and CAIO from Brazil. The company also had a few US Thomas buses and "trams" from the US. Some ex Dutch buses were also rebuilt to a "tram"type model.
