In 1975 Inversiones Alsemar SA started a body repair workshop in Bogota under the nam "Talleres JGB". In 1990 the company produced its first bodywork under the brand name JGB. Since the the company has expanded and became one of Colombia's main bus body builders. Buses are built on a variety of chassis and export takes place to neighbouring countries.

The current (2012) model range includes:
Atlantis Plus: a 12 to 13.2 meter long high end high floor coach
Picasso: a standard length coach
Ibiza: a small front engine bus/coach in various lenghs and specifications:
Ibiza Plus: the coach and longest version of the Ibiza
Ibiza Articulado: an articulated front engined bus
Ibiza Interurbano: the interurban version
Ibiza Urbano: a two-door urban bus
Mini Ibiza: the shortest version of the Ibiza series.
