SRT Bizerte is responsible for bus transport in the "Gouvernorat" of Bizerte along the northern coast of Tunisia and even to the northernmost point of the African continent. The company was created on 12 September 1962 taking over when private passenger and goods transport operators in the region. On 1 February 1988 goods transport was separated and SRTB now only operates bus services. As one of the government public transport companies the fleet consists of the standard models, including articulated buses. It also has a number of coaches for long-distance routes. SRT Bizerte does not number its buses. The company website has a number of historic pictures of the period around 1984 showing Ikarus 280, small STIA, FIAT -STIA, and Berliet -STIA buses and Volvo -SETCAR and avrious models of STIA coaches.
In 2021 new Volvo -SETCAR and Mercedes OC500 -ICAR buses are present.
