Secondhand imported buses
Many secondhand buses entered Nigeria, sometimes because of the import of series of buses, most often through individual imports. Here we show some random examples seen in 1990 and 2004 of buses coming from The Netherlands and other European countries, and an Israeli bus. Whiel the large coach companies now have fleets of modern new coaches, often Volvo or Mercedes-Benz with Busscar or Marcopolo bodywork, the small companies have more often seconhand imports.
