Lagos
Two pictures cannot do justice to the Lagos bus system. Hopefully more will follow....
However, these 1977 pictures show that Lagos used to have good quality imported buses. But when one looks at pictures taken during the 1990's and the new millennium the same decripit and basic Mercedes truck and van-based vehicles can be seen as on the Abuja page, though painted yellow rather than green. Only recently investments have been made in a high quality bus system on reserved lanes. On this system modern buses are being used: Asho-Leyland from India, Hyundai from South Korea
and Mercedes-Marcopolo.
