Rond 1990 stapte de RATF over van de chassis met ondervloermotor op de DAF TB2100 met de motor voorin. Ook werd een nieuw model carrosserie geintroduceerd.

Around 1990 RATF changed from the buses with midship underfloor engine (DAF MB200 and Volvo B10M) to the DFA TB2100 with front mounted engine. A new model of bodywork was also introduced.
