Stadsbus Maastricht kocht de standaard stadsbus op Volvo B59-chassis, in de normale donkerrode uitvoering. Als eerste kwamen in 1977 de 71-75, gevolgd door de 76-85 in 1978. Daarbij dient opgemerkt te worden dat de 81-85 tot 1981 in huur reden bij de HTM. In 1980 werden nog de soortgelijke 111-115 van de BBA overgenomen, die de nummers 93-97 kregen. De 77 werd na een ongeval in 1988 afgevoerd, de rest volgde in 1990/1991. Elf bussen uit de series 71-75 en 76-85 gingen via België naar Casablanca. Hierbij was ook de in 1990 verongelukte 84, die weer werd opgelapt maar daarbij wel een wat ander uiterlijk kreeg, zoals op de foto te zien is. De serie 71-75 had de letters Volvo boven het metalen vlak op het front en het Hainje embleem in dit vlak. Bij de 76-85 was dit omgekeerd en stond de letters Volvo in het metalen vlak.

Stadsbus Maastricht (city services Maastricht) bought the standard city bus on Volvo B59 chassis. They were otherwise to full standard specifications, including the dark red colours. The 71-75 came in 1977, followed by the 76-85 in 1978. Of the latter series, numbers 81-85 served in The Hague on a trial basis until 1981. In 1980 the identical BBA 111-115 were taken over and became SM 93-97. Number 77 was scrapped after an accident in 1988, the other buses were withdrawn in 1990/1991. Eleven of the series 71-75 and 76-85 went to Casablanca via Belgium. Included was the 84, which had been an accident victim in 1990, but had been repaired. However, during this process the front end was modified, as can be seen in the picture of 1623 below. The series 71-75 had the letters Volvo above the metal area on the front, with the Hainje decall in the centre of this area. This was reversed in the series 76-85.
