In juni/juli 1981 werden de laatste Leyland-Den Oudsten LOB standaard streekbussen gebouwd. Het waren de Westnederland 1699-1712. Ze kregen een kortere wielbasis en een brede instapdeur zoals toen gebruikelijk. De rode streekbanken waren direct op de vloer geplaatst. Aanvankelijk hadden ze grijze schortplaten en een witte bovenkant, maar later schilderde WN ze helemaal geel. Omdat het de laatste Leylands waren werden ze relatief snel afgevoerd. Vijf exemplaren werden naar Casablanca verkocht. Ook daar waren het de laatste Leylands.

In June/July 1981 the last Leyland-Den Oudsten LOB standard regional buses were built. They were Westnederland 1699-1712. They had a shorter wheelbase and a wide entrance door as was usual during that period. The red seats were placed directly on the floor. Initially they had grey skirts and white upper parts but later WN painted them allover yellow. Because they were the last Leylands they were withdrawn relatively early. Five went to Casablanca in 1993. There too they were the last Leylands.
