Minibuses, called taxis, play a major role in public transport in Lesotho. In 1988 all "taxi"buses seen were Toyota Hiace, in 2015 there are also Mercedes-Benz and IVECO, some of which tend to be larger and enter into the same category is the Toyota Coaster and the Asia Combi.
