The National Youth Service recieved 10 DAF FA2100 -BOVA Benelux buses in 1980 as part of a development aid package for the NYS. Six of these buses were used in October 1986 to open the new NYS bus services in Nairobi. They were not built as city buses with their one hinged door and were returned to noraml NYS duties when sufficient new buses were available.

Pictures taken in Nairobi, May, August and October 1987. The two bottom pictures were taken in July 1985 and show the buses in normal NYS use in fromt of Parliament. The third picture from the botttom shows one bus in Januari 1995, also in normal NYS service.
