Alexandria, on the Mediterrannean Sea, had an interesting bus fleet over time. While in 1984 imported buses formed the majority of the fleet, in 1997 all buses were locally built (except for the Ikarus midibuses). In the new Millennium Nasr-Daewoo BV120L buses were bought. In 2015/2016 150 new Volvo -Marcopolo buses (built in Egypt) are bought
