SAVIEM/Renault S105R
The S105R was the restyled (hence the R) version of the SAVIEM S105. This version was built between 1977 and 1987, when the model was again modernised as S105RX. Alexandria had a fleet of 285 S105 and S105R, delivered between 1975 and 1982. From 1980 onwards these vehicles were badged Renault. The Alexandria vehicles were blue, but one bus, without owner identification, seen in 1997, was in the green-cream colours used in other African cities.
