HTM 6636/37/46/6750: MAN Lion's City CNG, 2009, ex Veolia/Syntus. Read full text
On November 13, 2017, HTM put four temporary buses in service on tram replacement route 76, replacing part of tram route 16 which was out of service due to reconstruction work for a prolonged period of time. The buses came from MAN and had been used by Syntus from December 2016 as temporary buses. Originally they are Veolia Haaglanden 6636, 6637, 6646 and 6750. They retained these numbers. While HTM has tram replacement buses series 300, no diesel buses were allowed for this specific service. However, as the buses had had all their equipment removed they could not display destination and, worse, they did not have the chipcard readers anymore so passengers could not pay. People knew this very quickly and even waited for one of these buses to come so they had a free ride. This of course was not what HTM wanted and after only two days of service
