The UAE has modern urban busfleets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and luxury long distance services all across the country. Large fleets for school transport and transport of workers exist, often using more basic bus models. Tourism is on the increase and modern coaches have entered service recently. Buses and coaches come from Europe, Latin America (Marcopolo) and increasingly from China and India.
A bus building industry has developed recently.
