The Girón XIII is the Cuban version of the Ikarus 260 underfloor engine city bus. Most vehicles have the standard three-door layout, but some had the centre door removed as can be seen on one of the pictures. The buses are used on urban public transport duties all over the country. Sometimes they pull a trailer, like the bus seen in Guantanamo. The Ikarus 260 was exported to Cuba from hungary between 1979 and 1990. A total of 4509 vehicles were exported, only the first three as complete vehicles, the others as kits.
