Two visits to Treichville's railway station in November 1990 permitted to see the international train 11 to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso and Rapide 21 to Bouaké. The railway company RAN, linking Treichville to Ouagadougou, had been split into two national companies, SICF (Société Ivorienne des Chemins de Fer) and SCFB (Société des Chemins de Fer Burkinabé). SICF's passenger train time table had four train pairs per day:
