MCV is an Egyptian company building buses since 1998 (see our MCV page). In 2002 MCV took over the Marshall business in the United Kingdom and started building models for the British market, the most important now being the "Evolution", otherwise marketed as the C120 and C120LE. Further expansion came when MCV South Africa was established in 2007 and acquiured the De Haan factory in August of that year. MCV invested in the factory and the upgraded the bus models which since 2011 are marketed as MCV. In addition to the upgraded former De Haan models S140 (ex Challenger Superior) and S125 (Destiny), MCV started marketing its own models. The C120R, adapted to the South African market, has been sold to Cape Town and Durban and is being tested in Port Elizabeth. MCV is also offering the 600 high end coach in South Africa and the S121R Sphinx front-end regional bus.
